My name is Jonathan Sayer and I am a 17 year old Scottish student. I am doing my Duke of Edinburgh gold qualifying expedition in the Atlas Mountains this year in June and am currently conducting fundraising along with the three other members of my group. We have, as a group, completed bronze and silver expeditions and also a practice expedition in the Cairngorm mountain range and hope to go on and successfully accomplish gold together. On our expedition in June we are planning to scale Jbel Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. I am looking forward to this excursion as it will give me an opportunity to have a bit of fun and adventure after finishing my 6^th year exams just a few days before we leave.
